LISTEN AND MAKE

On listen and do instruction, students listening and doing what teacher said. But on listen and make, students are asked for crossing creative process. For example;
The student have to make decision alone
There is particular time for thinking and giving comment about
There is occasion that students corporate one another

1. Prepharation
a) Find a topic
b) Collect materials that you need as instrument
c) Use getures to make them more understanding

2. A class activity
Starting with a topic and explain little about topic
Explain topic in English and show them what they have to do in English as you can as possible. Use gesture to make more clearly.
Repeat instructions for all students and then for a several groups or by one person.
When they begin ‘make’, go step around and give comment themwork in English.

3. The kinds of ‘listen and make’
a) Listen and color. Coloring is simple activity for young students.
b) Listen and Draw. Students can draw alone without insruction. But in this case, your goal is make them listen your instruction in English. On this time, students will draw what you said.
c) Liaten and make. There are many kinds activity that students do. There are doing with clay, plastic, peper, or card.
For example, in English states, many people send greeting cards on events like chrismast, valentine day, motherday, ect. On this case, you can give students instruction about what they have to do. With gestures you can make them more understand.
